Job Description
Repcor is one of the leading manufacturer representative agencies in Northern California and we specialize in the Plumbing, Fire & Waterworks industries. Our Inside Sales team plays a key role in our organization by offering a range of direct services to our customers on behalf of manufacturing partners. Services include price quoting, order processing and technical consultations.
We are currently looking for an experienced Inside sales representative, who can coordinate customer inquiries, provide a significant level of specialized information and services on all brands represented by Repcor under minimal supervision. The ability to make complex decisions to match client needs with appropriate resources is key. The ideal candidate would be able to independently handle office administrative duties including purchasing, reconciling accounts, work as part of a team on a wide range of Repcor programs, projects, and special initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a source of information to customers, contractors and homeowners, requiring a broad knowledge of products, procedures, resources, and client needs. Manage incoming customer calls, which includes, in general, responding to standard and complex inquiries and use of judgment and knowledge to provide accurate and timely responses.
• Use various manufacturers’ website/programs to input and update customers’ purchase orders. Monitor sites for accuracy and up-to-date information.
• Demonstrate the ability to relay and apply technical expertise and product knowledge to accomplish expected results.
• Use logic and sound judgment in the application of resources, determining courses of action, and defining solutions to problems based on manufactures requirements.
• Monitor and respond to various e-mail accounts in a timely manner.
• Interact with the outside sales team, contributing information, procedures, and ideas, as well as keeping Management informed of key developments.
• Demonstrate ability to effectively modify approaches to tasks based upon current customer needs or changes to a situation.
• Independently prepare accurate price quotation correspondence to respond to external inquiries from customers and Repcor outside sales staff. Compose, edit, and track such quotations, as well as keeping Management informed of key developments.
• Handle formal product quotations for specification products and works with the manufacturers on special pricing and product requirements.
• Preparation of customized product proposal packages for large projects in PowerPoint.
Skills & Qualifications:
• AA degree or minimum of 3 years of work experience
• Experience working in the plumbing or waterworks industry preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ease with both telephone and in-person contacts.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications.

Nonetheless our team has been growing rapidly and we are looking for a dynamic, team- and customer service- oriented person to add to our group. The ideal candidate will have construction related experience in a design/build environment. This person will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with contractors, engineers, developers, etc.
